TrailPeople

TrailPeople is leading a multi-disciplined team to prepare technical studies, preliminary designs, environmental documents, construction documents and permits for this important regional trail connection – part of the San Francisco Bay Trail, the Bay Area Ridge Trail, and the California Delta Trail.  The trail will also be an important link in the bridge-to-bridge Carquinez Strait Scenic Loop Trail from the Benicia-Martinez Bridge.

The trail will connect through a rugged portion of city open space and Caltrans right-of-way along the Carquinez Strait and along I-80 near the bridge toll plaza, then follow a new crossing under the freeway at Highway 29 to connect to the existing multi-use path on the Carquinez Bridge.
