TrailPeople

TrailPeople led the design of this regional trail connection to the Napa River for the City of Napa, working with Cal Engineering & Geology. The trail will pass along agricultural roads adjacent to vineyards and wetland pasture areas, terminating at a river overlook.  The trail will feature interpretive exhibits of the historic ferry crossing, natural resources, the Bay Trail system, and past and current agricultural land uses. The trail project required close coordination with stakeholders, including owners and operators of the working vineyard and winery property through which the trail passes; the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, over whose preserve and grazing land the trail passes, and the S.F. Bay Trail staff.
